The Collected Works
From eBay, I bought the Collected Works. This was a 1988 compilation of all the Ultimate Play the Game games, except for Underwurlde, for some reason.
The four games released under the US Gold banner were also not included, but rightly or wrongly, they were not regarded as Tim and Chris Stamper games, so I didn’t consider porting these four.
The 11 games were:

- Pssst
- Tranz Am
- JetPac
- Lunar Jetman
- Atic Atac
- Sabre Wulf
- Knight Lore
- Alien 8
- Nightshade
- Gunfright
I then bought a Spectrum from eBay and the seller chucked in a few games for free.
When the box arrived from the Netherlands, those games included JetPac, PSSST and Cookie. I was well chuffed.
Completely coincidently, my parents, who thought now that I owned my own house, I should perhaps have all my childhood rubbish back!!! Two more ZX Spectrums and a set of Assembly books, one of which was Zaks, Programming the Z80.
I intended to re-create the Collected Works compilation for the Windows Phone, although Underwurlde would magically appear in my version.
Writing apps for the Windows Phone 7 was very straigtforward, the SDK had everything you need in one ISO: Visual Studio, the SDK, XNA/Silverlight and a phone emulator. This meant I was able to make a head start before any real devices were released…
